Trudi Matthews is Director of Policy and Business Development with HealthBridge in Cincinnati, Ohio.  HealthBridge is a not-for-profit corporation that supports health information technology (HIT) adoption, health information exchange (HIE), and innovative use of information for improved health care outcomes. For well over a decade, HealthBridge has been recognized as one of the nation’s largest, most advanced, and most financially sustainable health information exchanges (HIE).

Since January 2008, Trudi has managed public sector development efforts, public relations, policy and government affairs for HealthBridge. Trudi has given leadership to HealthBridge’s successful collaborations for Regional Extension Center, Beacon Community, State HIE and Nationwide Health Information Network awards totaling more than $26 million. Trudi received her B.A. and M.A. in political science from Iowa State University.
