Peggy McManus is President of The National Alliance to Advance Adolescent Health, and formerly co-director of the Maternal and Child health Policy Research Center. She holds a master’s degree in health sciences and is an expert on health care delivery and financing issues for youth and their families. She has a particular interest in research related to the organization of primary care systems for adolescents and played a key role in a study of the benefits of medical home innovations for adolescents. She currently directs a transition quality improvement project in Washington, DC, and serves as a consultant to the National Health Care Transition Center (funded by HRSA). For more than two decades, Ms. McManus served as a consultant to the AAP Committee on Child Health Financing.
