Alice Georgitso, MPH, is a heart transplant recipient, following lifelong medical care to treat congenital heart disease from the age of 4 weeks old. Alice serves on the Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Patient and Family Advisory Council at Stanford Health Care, where she assisted in starting Stanford’s ACHD Peer-to-Peer Program, and now serves as a Mentor to ACHD patients awaiting organ transplantation. Alice hopes her personal and professional experience can empower others to also live an enriching life in spite of health challenges.
