The American Academy of Pediatrics is recruiting healthcare professionals to join a 7-month ECHO for pediatricians, pediatric specialists, and others who provide medical care to children with spina bifida to increase knowledge, skills and self-efficacy regarding effective strategies and best practices in promoting successful transitional care services and transitional care programs.
Practices will engage in the ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) model, a telementoring platform that leverages video conference technology to connect experts with primary care teams in local communities, fostering an “all teach, all learn” approach.

The first ECHO session will be held November 10, 2021. ECHO sessions will be held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 10:00-11:00 a.m. CT with adjustments for the holidays from November 10, 2021-May 25, 2022
