ACOFP INTENSIVE UPDATE & BOARD REVIEW IN OSTEOPATHIC FAMILY MEDICINE

WHO SHOULD ATTENDThe ACOFP Intensive Update & Board Review is designed for practicing family physicians who want to update their skills and knowledge, as well as those osteopathic family physicians preparing to take the recertification examination given by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). 

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

This program provides a patient-care focused review by experienced osteopathic family medicine clinician-educators. The curriculum has been updated to reflect the latest developments in the field. It will cover major family medicine concepts and help participants improve existing skills, as well as introduce new and innovative osteopathic modalities. In addition, the program schedule has been designed to minimize the time away from your busy practice.

Daily breakout sessions utilizing a hands-on approach will provide a solid review and practice of osteopathic manipulative therapy (OMT). Additionally, targeted reviews of important topics in family medicine are designed to augment knowledge in preparation for the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians certification or recertification examination.
