This June 7th and 8th, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is convening the inaugural CMS Health Equity Conference with an outstanding agenda, and PCC is pleased to be attending.
While in-person registration is closed, CMS will be livestreaming meeting plenaries. So we encourage PCC’s members and friends to tune in and join in the conversation!
The PCC Board of Directors has committed PCC to Equity in all That We Do. From last year’s report with Morehouse School of Medicine, Primary Care: A Key Lever to Support Health Equity, to the Better Health – NOW Campaign’s push to strengthen Medicaid primary care, that commitment continues to challenge and shape our work.
In the coming weeks, the Biden Administration the chance to insist on whole-person primary care in all communities, across Medicare, at the CMS Innovation Center, and throughout all 56 state Medicaid programs. With the efforts of PCC’s members and advocates around the country, we will be pressing policymakers to make the most of them.
