Desert Senita Community Health Center (DSCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center located in the rural community of Ajo, Arizona. Ajo is located on the far southwest side of Pima County, 43 miles north of the Mexican border and 2.5 hours away from Tucson. With the mine closing in 1985, employment is limited and over a third of patients live below the federal poverty level.

Established in 1891 in a rented four-bedroom home in Jamaica, Queens, Jamaica Hospital Medical Center’s (JHMC) growth has been remarkable. Today Jamaica Hospital is a 424-bed, fully accredited community teaching hospital with a large network of community-based ambulatory care centers. JHMC offers a full array of acute inpatient, rehabilitation and mental health services, the largest voluntary hospital ambulance fleet serving the City’s 911 system, and a Level I trauma center.
Essentia Health-Ashland Clinic offers a full spectrum of primary and specialty care services, including Orthopedics, to residents of Ashland and the surrounding area. The clinic is home to a cancer center and heart center -- both of which are satellites of Essentia's world-class heart and cancer centers located in Duluth, MN. Many specialists regularly travel from Duluth to provide outreach services at the Ashland Clinic which keeps care close to home for patients and their families.
