The Primary Care Collaborative (PCC) is a not-for-profit multi-stakeholder membership organization dedicated to advancing an effective and efficient health system built on a strong foundation of primary care and the patient-centered medical home. Representing a broad group of public and private organizations, the PCC’s mission is to unify and engage diverse stakeholders in promoting policies and sharing best practices that support growth of high-performing primary care and achieve the “Quadruple Aim”: better care, better health, lower costs, and greater joy for clinicians and staff in delivery of care.

DR. TORIAN EASTERLING First Deputy Commissioner and Chief Equity Officer, NYC Department of Health
New York City was the hot spot for COVID-19 early in the pandemic. Dr. Easterling will reflect on successes and lessons learned from his senior leadership position in NYC's public health department that may be instructive for other leaders and communities, including his vantage point as a community physician committed to health equity.
Panel discussion: HOW CAN PRIMARY CARE ADVANCE UNDER A NEW CONGRESS & THE NEXT WHITE HOUSE?
In a discussion led by Rachel Roubein, a healthcare reporter at POLITICO, Susan Zook, founder of Mason Street Consulting and former health policy adviser to Sen. Mike Crapo, and Mara McDermott, vice president of McDermott+Consulting and former SVP at America’s Physician Groups, will tell us what they think lies ahead for health care and how primary care can best position itself to attract policymaker support in 2021.
This year’s momentous events – the pandemic, the economic downturn, the renewed conversations about racial and health inequities, and the November election – all have the potential to impact and be catalysts for changes in primary care. The conference is a chance to come together as champions of primary care and to put ourselves on the forefront of reimaging primary care and shaping its future.
