Audrey Whetsell of the Medical Home Development Group will introduce a comprehensive approach to PCMH practice transformation using innovative technology solutions. She will highlight how to seamlessly incorporate unique technology solutions sets, that can assess and address health literacy, cultural competency and language barriers, into the PCMH transformation and accreditation process. This enhancement in the accreditation process will help front line providers optimize healthcare quality and outcomes for all patients.
User friendly technology solutions from the Hopkins Center for Health Disparities Solutions and Polyglot Systems will be previewed during the webinar to provide attendees with a solution oriented perspective to improving patient-provider communications and partnership. Dr. Thomas LaVeist and Cheri Wilson will demonstrate how the Cultural Competency Organizational Assessment-360 (COA360) can be successfully deployed as a continuous quality improvement (CQI) approach to improve organizational cultural competence.
