Summerpal Kahlon, M.D., is Vice President of Business Development at RelayHealth, where he focuses on enhancing connectivity and communication between prescribers and pharmacy on behalf of patients and their medication needs.

 As an Adult Infectious Diseases specialist, Summer has practiced in a variety of settings across the healthcare spectrum. He has experience in general Infectious Diseases, HIV/AIDS care, and travel and tropical medicine. His work has been published in the American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, the Croatian Journal of Infection, AIDS Reader, Biochem Pharmacology and the Journal of Interferon Cytokine Research.

Prior to joining RelayHealth, he was Vice President of Medical Affairs for McKesson Provider Technologies, where he provided consultative support and subject matter expertise for enterprise/hospital electronic medical record implementations and telehealth systems. He maintains a particular interest in optimizing the efficiency of the healthcare delivery system.
