Lauren Barone has worked at the American Academy of Pediatrics for 12 years on a number of child health topics including early education and child care, immunizations, SIDS risk reduction, breastfeeding, and most recently oral health. She graduated from Beloit College with a Bachelors in Science and Northern Illinois University with a Masters in Public Health, focusing on maternal and child health. Growing up in a house with a dentist father and an educator mother, Lauren has always loved to educate people about the importance of oral health and is grateful to get to do it every day at work!
