As PCC's Director of Policy, Larry helps shape and advance a policy agenda aimed at building a comprehensive, team-based and patient-centered primary care system. He coordinates PCC's Policy and Advocacy Committee and Behavioral Health Integration Workgroup.
Mr. McNeely's career includes policy roles at the American Diabetes Association, where he guided its diabetes prevention and health equity policy advocacy, and the Maryland Department of Health. From 2011 to 2017, as Policy Director at the National Coalition on Health Care, he led that diverse multistakeholder coalition’s policy development and advocacy efforts. Previously, Mr. McNeely guided U.S. Public Interest Research Group's (US PIRG's) campaign to secure federal health reform.
Mr. McNeely earned a master of public administration from West Virginia University. He also holds bachelor of arts degrees in philosophy and the history and philosophy of math and science from St. John's College, Annapolis, Md.
