Dr. Mansheim has been a Board member at URAC since 2006 and is the immediate Past-President of the Board. He currently chairs the Patient Centered Health Care Home (PCHCH) project team.  

He is Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.  His medical experience includes academic practice as well as a ten year private practice where he had an active primary care practice and provided consultation in his sub-specialty. 

Following his practice career he spent 18 years as a medical executive in managed care, most recently as Chief Medical Officer of Coventry Health Care. 

Current activities include consulting with an independent medical review organization and volunteering at the Board level and as a practitioner in two free clinics.
