March National Briefing
Thursday, March 27th 1:00PM - 2:00 PM ET Overcoming Collaboration Barriers Among Behavioral Health and Primary Care Providers Register here.
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act’s (HIPAA) Privacy Rule can present barriers to collaboration between behavioral health and primary care providers. However, many of those barriers are more perceived than real. Dayna Matthew, JD, joins us to present an overview of HIPAA barriers and to debunk common misunderstandings about data-sharing under HIPAA. Ms. Matthew will also discuss how providers can better support care teams through integration and information sharing.
CEO Update: Marci Nielsen, CEO, PCPCC, will start the call with a brief synopsis of recent medical home news.
