The PCPCC is proud to introduce Sarah Krug, CEO of Cancer 101, as our keynote speaker for the 2017 PCPCC Annual Conference. Cancer 101's mission is to empower, inform and engage patients and their caregivers to take control over their diagnosis, navigate the cancer journey, and partner with their healthcare team to make informed decisions.
Sarah is driven by her passion to make an impact in patient care and engagement. At the PCPCC conference, Sarah will discuss how healthcare organizations can efficiently and effectively solicit input from typical patients. Sarah will describe her efforts to garner patient input - including via patient shark tanks - from over 3,500 patients to shape over 550 innovations.
Sarah's impressive work, along with Prescription 2, a Cancer 101 initiative, resulted in an invitation to hear Joe Biden deliver an update on the Cancer Moonshot initiative.
Sarah will serve as the keynote speaker on Wednesday, October 11.
