The 2018 NPA Annual Conference will be held Oct. 21-24 at the Portland Hilton Downtown in Portland, OR.
The annual conference brings together a diverse audience of administrative, primary care and clinical staff from PACE and Pre-PACE programs. Organizations considering PACE development; state, federal, legislative and regulatory staff; and other long-term care service providers also attend.
The room rate at the Hilton Portland and Executive Towers is $208 single/double, plus taxes. Online reservations (link is external)are now available.
The NPA Education Committee invites you to submit a session proposal for the conference. Educational sessions will be scheduled for Monday, Oct. 22, through Wednesday, Oct. 24.
Featured subject areas will include PACE service diversification, the use of DataPACE3 for quality improvement activities, growth strategies for PACE, the use of PACE waiver opportunities, and operational efficiencies. Proposals addressing other issues relevant to PACE are welcome.
This year’s conference also will feature a rehab/therapy concentration as part of the overall session offerings. These educational sessions will focus on information exchange and problem-solving.
In addition, NPA is seeking experienced facilitators for 60-minute roundtable discussions on a variety of hot topics in PACE. Facilitators will make brief introductory remarks to frame the discussion, open the dialogue, and keep the audience on track.
