R. Steven Adams, is CEO & founder of RMD Networks, Inc. He is a leader in the development and management of products and information systems in the converging Internet, health care, and personal computer industries.  Adams has been founder and CEO of four companies. He founded Webb Interactive Services and served as CEO and chairman from 1993 until 2000 and took the company public with a successful IPO in 1996.  While at Webb, he was instrumental in developing MDGateway, an online system for continuing medical education for physicians as well as other innovative online health care solutions.  Adams founded ReachMyDoctor and RMD Networks in the fall of 2000.  RMD provides Collaborative Care Solutions™ that enhance health care communications and coordination of care among multiple providers and patients with complex health issues.  RMD currently has their solution deployed in 20 states including two state-wide initiatives focused on the patient-centered medical home and chronic care models that use RMD’s application as an integrated medical home platform.  Adams has served as a state commissioner on Colorado’s Information Management Commission and on the boards of technology companies and volunteer organizations and is an active participant in a number of national health initiatives and organizations.
