David Meyers directs the Center for Primary Care, Prevention, and Clinical Partnerships at AHRQ. He leads the agency’s work in support of the primary care patient-centered medical home and serves on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services teams charged with implementing the Affordable Care Act provisions related to prevention and primary care. Before joining AHRQ, he practiced full scope family medicine, including maternity care, in a community health center in Washington, D.C. and directed Georgetown University’s primary care practice-based research network CAPRICORN.
