Capt. Pamella Vodicka is a Senior Public Health Analyst for Health Resources and Services Administration’s Maternal and Child Health Bureau. Capt. Vodicka received her master’s degree in nutrition and certification as a registered dietitian in 1986. After nearly a decade serving children as a pediatric clinical dietitian in various hospital settings, she moved to Charleston, S.C., where she first entered the field of public health. In 2003, she began her federal career with HRSA.
Today, she is responsible for federal dollars that fund technical assistance in support of systems change that improves healthcare delivery to the most vulnerable MCH populations. Areas of focus include oral health integration into primary care and adolescent/young adult health and wellness.
