III. Strategic Planning Discussion (12:25-12:55pm ET)

Purpose: Help PCPCC focus its strategic plan to reflect important tasks / steps related to behavioral health as part of PCMH development.
Background:
- PCPCC going through strategic planning process (Nov 2014 - April 2015).
- We want to ensure behavioral health is included in the plan.
- Reminder that PCPCC does these 4 things: Convene, Collect, Disseminate, Advocate
Discussion Points:
- How does behavioral health belong in the work of PCPCC's 5 Stakeholder Centers?
  - Advocacy & Public Policy Center
  - Care Delivery & Integration Center
  - Employers & Purchasers Center
  - Outcomes & Evaluation Center
  - Patients, Families & Consumers Center
- Example Ideas:
  - Patients: Take steps to help patients understand and demand better integrated BH as a standard of care in the PCMH - use stories that demonstrate the real value in having BH appropriately part of what PCMH can readily do.
  - Outcomes: Develop and include some measures or indicators for how well BH is integrated in PCMH practices.
  - Employers: Include the business case for integrated BH in financial/benefits conversations, reports and recommendations.
