Dr. Larissa Nekhlyudov is an Associate Professor in the Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a general internist at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates.  She is particularly interested in improving the care of cancer survivors and the interplay between primary and oncology care.  Dr. Nekhlyudov has led numerous national efforts to educate primary care providers in caring for patients across the continuum of cancer care.  She developed a website offering cancer survivorship resources to primary care providers - www.cancersurvivorshipprimarycare.org, has served as a Co-Editor of the Cancer Survivorship section in UpToDate, faculty member in numerous educational workshops at the Society of General Internal Medicine, LIVESTRONG, Harvard Medical School, and the ACS/CDC funded Cancer Survivorship E-learning Series, among others. 

She currently serves as the Director of Cancer Research in the Department of Population Medicine, Director of the National Cancer Institute-funded Community Practice Research Core at the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center and has recently assumed the role of Clinical Director, Internal Medicine for Cancer Survivors at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. She is an active member of the Society of General Internal Medicine, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and recently served on the Institute of Medicine Committee focusing on improving the quality of cancer care. Dr. Nekhlyudov is on the Advisory Board of the Massachusetts Cancer Registry. She teaches at Harvard Medical School and serves as a preceptor in the Brigham and Women’s Residency Program in Primary Care and Population Medicine.
