PCPCC Webinar- Telehealth in Primary Care: Increasing Access and Integrating Care

The PCPCC, in partnership with HIMSS and URAC, was pleased to host this webinar that explored the impact of connected health technology on the daily workflow of healthcare providers and highlighted how HIMSS and URAC are addressing issues associated with the broadening definition of telehealth. 

Thomas R. Martin

Thomas R. Martin, PhD, MBA, is Director with HIMSS, a global, cause-based, not-for-profit organization focused on better health through information technology (IT) supporting the organizations focus on mobile, wireless, and telehealth technologies. Dr. Martin also provides support for the Connected Health Community of HIMSS. With more than 10 years of experience in healthcare, Dr. Martin joins HIMSS from the telecommunications and healthcare IT industries. He has lived and worked overseas in Australia, traveling extensively in Asia Pacific for business. Dr. Martin began his journey in healthcare working at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He has served as project lead for numerous IT implementations and mobile app developments. read more

Kylanne Green

Kylanne Green is President and CEO of URAC, a national accreditation leader. A Registered Nurse and Adult Nurse Practitioner by background, Ms. Green has more than 40 years of experience in health care delivery and insurance strategy and operations.Most recently, she served as Executive Vice President for Inova Health System and CEO of Inova’s Care Management and Health Plan Operations. She was responsible for managed care and insurance services and health plan operations as well as care management and a range of hospital and non-hospital operations. While at Inova, Ms. Green was the chief architect of a 50/50 joint venture with Aetna, establishing the first of its kind collaboration between a health system and an insurer. In addition, she oversaw the purchase and subsequent operations of a 60,000 member Virginia Medicaid MCO. Ms. read more
