Robb Malone, PharmD, CPP is a clinical pharmacist practitioner with significant experience in quality improvement and design, implementation, and evaluation of planned-care programs for vulnerable patients, particularly those with diabetes. He is currently Vice President of UNC Health Care Practice Quality and Innovation (PQI). PQI works with physicians and other Health Care System providers and Ambulatory Care service areas to improve patient experience and outcomes, operational processes, and business performance. PQI’s goal is to ensure that NC residents have access to high-quality, efficient, patient-centered care delivered to the right patient at the right time—every time.Robb has appointments as an Associate Professor of Medicine and Pharmacy. He has also held several positions within the Health Care System and School of Medicine, including, Redesign Change Manager and Faculty for UNC’s Patient Access and Efficiency (PAcE) Initiative, Assistant Medical Director for the Internal Medicine Clinic, and Director of the UNC Center for Excellence in Chronic Illness Care (CECIC).
