Jennifer Lail MD has practiced clinical pediatrics at Chapel Hill Pediatrics and Adolescents, P.A. for thirty years. Having particular interest in health care delivery for children with special needs, she represented her practice and the state of North Carolina in NICHQ’s first Medical Home Learning Collaborative in 2002-3. Subsequently, she led her practice in a three-year grant with NC Title V, serving as a demonstration project for Medical Home Quality Improvements for Children with Special Health Care Needs. Subsequently, she led her practice’s Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home NCQA certification She is a member of the AAP Partnership for Policy Implementation and served as the quality improvement for the AAP Newborn Screening Policy Statement Authoring Committee for their clinical report published in Pediatrics In January 2008. Currently, she is on the Medical Home Chapter Champions for Asthma project advisory board. She is a member of the AAP Council on Children with Disabilities, the AAP Quality Improvement Innovation Network, and is an appointee to the North Carolina Legislative Study Commission on Children and Youth.
