Jeff Hanson is a vice president with Truven Health Analytics and is responsible for crafting, executing and coordinating their cross-market activities including performance measurement, pay for performance and value-based health initiatives including the patient-centered medical home. His responsibilities in this arena are business-wide – encompassing cross stakeholder approaches that leverage assets and capabilities from across Truven Health Analytics. Hanson has more than 25 years of experience spanning the various stakeholders in health care, including employers, health plans, Medicaid and hospitals. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters he served as a regional health care manager, benefits strategy and design at Verizon Communications. Hanson is active in numerous local, regional and national speaking engagements across the country, focusing on provider performance measurement, pay for performance, and mutli-stakeholder collaboratives. He has presented on pay for performance before various groups on Capitol Hill. In addition to speaking, Hanson is often quoted in various industry publications and news stories, capturing insight into various related health care issues.
