Dr. Scholle is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of NCQA's research agenda. Dr. Scholle previously served as associate professor of psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research interests focus on assessing quality of health care and understanding consumer perceptions and preferences in health care, particularly for women and families.  At the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Scholle helped initiate the Magee-RAND Women's Health Initiative.  Dr. Scholle has over 40 publications in major health services and women's health journals on topics including patterns and quality of care, managed care enrollment, primary care and patient satisfaction.  Dr. Scholle received her bachelor's degree in history and master's degree in public health from Yale University and her doctorate in public health from the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health.
