Executive Member Briefing: Fixing Medicare, A Conversation with the Experts

Our November Executive Member Briefing will focus on the latest discussion draft put forth by the Senate Finance and House Ways and Means Committees. The draft indicates bipartisan consensus for eliminating the Sustainable Growth Rate formula, and proposes alternative payment models that incentivize value-based delivery reforms including patient-centered medical homes and Accountable Care Organizations. We will welcome John Rother, current President & CEO of the National Coalition on Health Care and past EVP for Policy, Strategy, and International Affairs at AARP. Mr. Rother will lead a broader discussion about the impact of these reforms mean for the larger health care system.
