Standing Strategic Objectives: Progress Reports                                                                                                           

1.  Develop an advocacy and public policy agenda for the Collaborative, in consultation with the other Centers, the Executive Committee, and under direction of the Board

  • Leadership retreats scheduled for January 2013 for all five Stakeholder Centers
  • Quarterly calls (begin in December) for Co-Chairs from each Center and Executive Committee to collaborate and streamline Center activities

       2.  Advocate for and assist in the development of strategies to drive health system reform (to include health information technology and payment reform)

  • Relates to leadership retreat

3.  Promote primary care and the PCMH as the foundation of the medical neighborhood, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), and health system integration

4.  Promote primary care and the PCMH as part of federal and state health insurance exchanges, Medicaid, Medicare, and other federal, state, regional, and local government health programs
