As the Communications Associate, Maximilian Sandefer supports efforts to promote the importance of primary care and advance substantive changes that will improve all Americans' access to primary care.
Prior to joining the PCC acted as a political researcher for Nesbitt & Parrinello, social media coordinator for the nonprofit law firm Indiana Legal Services, opinion columnist for the Indiana Daily Student, and legislative intern on Capitol Hill.
Maximilian also developed a passion for improving our nation’s health care system as an outreach associate for Oak Street Health. There, he canvassed neighborhoods to register Medicare recipients for first-time clinic visits and learned firsthand the importance of comprehensive primary and preventative care.
Maximilian graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, with minors in Spanish and Communication & Public Advocacy. Currently, he is pursuing a Master's in Political Communication at American University.
