Arturo represents the voice of patients as the patient representative on the board of directors for NAPCRG, a multidisciplinary organization for primary care researchers. He has been a volunteer and member of NAPCRG for 7 years. He is a member of its Patient and Clinician Engagement group, helping to lift up the voices of patients and the community.
Arturo believes in patient- and community-centered care and that every person deserves access to high-quality health care. He is currently the Director of Development and Communications at Neighborhood House, a human service organization in Seattle, which creates opportunities for people who face cultural, language, and systemic barriers to live longer, happier, and healthier lives.
