This webinar on strengthening primary health care is developed in collaboration with the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) primary healthcare team.
This webinar builds on the National Academies consensus report, Implementing High-Quality Primary Care: Rebuilding the Foundation of Health Care. The report contains an implementation plan that includes recommended actions for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and other stakeholders. To address the pressing health needs of today, and in response to the report, OASH launched the Initiative to Strengthen Primary Health Care. The Initiative aims to develop a federal foundation for high-quality primary health care for all to improve healthcare access and outcomes, and advance health equity.
To support these and other aligned efforts underway across the nation, this public webinar will feature presentations and discussions on successful models and innovations, implementation guidance, measurement, and partnerships.
