24th International Health Promoting Hospitals and Health Services Conference

On June 8-10th, Planetree is partnering with Griffin Hospital, Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center and the World Health Organization Collaborating Centers for Health Promoting Hospitals to host the Health Promotion in Hospitals and Health Centers Conference for the first time in the U.S. The conference is in its 24th year and typically attracts 700+ attendees from over 43 different countries. Participants range in background from scientists to health care practitioners, leaders, decision makers, policy makers, researchers and related businesses.

This year’s theme of Creating a Culture of Health Through Innovation and Partnership has attracted an incredible panel of expert speakers including: Dr. Edward Kelly, WHO Director of Health Services, Dr. Michael McGinnis, Senior Scholar, National Academy of Medicine, Dr. Jewel Mullen, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Health-US Department of Health and Human Services, Dr. Elizabeth Bradley, Professor, Yale School of Public Health and Dr. Maulik Joshi, President, American Hospital Association- HRET Division, among others.
