Dr. Gary W. Ozanich is currently a Senior Research Fellow in the Center for Applied Informatics at Northern Kentucky University and serves as the Chair of the Business Development & Finance Committee for the Kentucky Health Information Exchange. He is an active HIMSS member and is the current (FY2014) Chair of the HIE Committee. He was the Founding Director of NKU’s Graduate Program in Health Informatics His background includes more than 12 years as a Vice President on Wall Street for bulge-bracket investment banks where he was a technology analyst. Gary also has worked in consulting at Booz-Allen & Hamilton and LINK Resources. He has held academic and research positions at Columbia University, Michigan State, and SUNY Buffalo. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
