Building Successful Value-Based Payment Models
Are you moving from volume to value?
MACRA (the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act) is right around the corner. This game-changing initiative and others are effectively making value-based payment mandatory for physician organizations.
In this new quarterly meeting, CAPG members engage in active dialogue with their colleagues about practice redesign. They share best practices and lessons learned with their organizations’ practice transformation program. This half-day meeting takes place in our Los Angeles office, with groups presenting on hot topics relating to their journey through practice transformation.
Moving into Alternative Payment Models (APMs) and don't quite know how to do it? What do you need to know about taking on risk? Learn from experts in the field who have executed successful risk-based contracts and performed care coordination well. CAPG has been doing all this for decades and is now launching our new Educational Series 2016 in March.
The Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation will share with our physician organizations about all the new projects taking place, along with details about specific innovation models pertaining to physician groups, such as Next Gen ACOs.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) invites you to join us for the 2016 National Conference & Exhibition October 22–25 (pre-conference sessions and events begin on Friday, October 21) in San Francisco. Experience over 350 educational sessions including practical hands-on learning and networking in addition to the largest pediatric technical exhibit of its kind.
National Conference is the place for residents and medical students to learn more about family medicine, explore residency programs, and connect with potential employers.
PCMH Congress is the conference for medical neighbors working together to provide the highest level of coordinated care.
Now in its second year, the PCMH Congress is the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)’s official conference for leaders dedicated to redesigning the care delivery system and achieving the Triple Aim through the patient-centered medical home model of care.
On April 27, CMS released its long-awaited proposed rule that will continue implementation of the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA). MACRA repealed the flawed sustainable growth rate (SGR) formula in Medicare Part B and sets out a new framework for physician payment. Under the proposed rule, physicians will participate in either the merit-based incentive payment system (MIPS) or the advanced alternative payment model (APM) path.
NAACOS conferences deliver valuable policy insights and operational strategies for ALL accountable care organizations. Our upcoming conference on September 29 and 30 will draw more than 550 ACO leaders from across the country and will feature presentations from noted ACO experts and CMS officials, as well as opportunities for networking and peer-to-peer learning.
