Kelly Rand is a Program Manager at the ABIM Foundation. In this role, she oversees activities related to grants and the Choosing Wisely Learning Network. Ms. Rand provides technical assistance outside the learning network as well and has offered her expertise to such projects as the advisory technical assistance committee for the Taking Action on Overuse project at Kaiser’s McColl Center for Healthcare Innovation, Vizient’s Shared Decision-Making Appropriate Use of Head and Back Imaging Tests Collaborative and American Society of Hospital Pharmacists’ 2018 Commission on Goals Opioid Council. She has presented on overuse at meeting such as IHI, the Families USA Health Action Conference and the ONC’s Annual Consumer Health IT Summit.

Dr. Letourneau is an experienced physician and public health advocate who brings extensive experience leading large-scale improvement initiatives and will serve as a contracted consultant for the project assisting with clinical direction, clinician engagement, and advancement of PFE and Choosing Wisely tools clinical practices. In her former role leading Maine Quality Counts, a regional health improvement collaborative, Dr. Letourneau led several multi-stakeholder improvement efforts, including the multi-payer Maine Patient Centered Medical Home Pilot, the Maine Aligning Forces for Quality (AF4Q) initiative, and the Northern New England Practice Transformation Network.
