Christopher Adamec serves as the Director of Policy for the Patient-Centered Primary Care Collaborative (PCPCC). In this role, he convenes the PCPCC membership to influence, analyze, and respond to changes in the legislative and regulatory landscape. PCPCC’s collective membership serves as a key voice in advocating for policies and programs to make primary care more robust and patient centered. read more
Vice President for Health Policy and Programs, National Partnership for Women & Families
Katie Martin is vice president for health policy and programs at the National Partnership for Women & Families where she leads the organization’s policy and advocacy efforts to support a health care system with universal access to high-quality, affordable and patient/family-centered care. Most recently, Katie served as acting assistant secretary for planning and evaluation (ASPE) at HHS, where she oversaw policy development, analysis, evaluation and strategic planning for issues across the Department. Prior to ASPE, Katie was the counselor to the secretary for health policy at HHS, where she advised the secretary on programs administered by CMS, AHRQ, ONC, and OCR. read more
Vice President, Governmental Affairs & Medical Practice, American College of Physicians
Shari M. Erickson currently serves as Vice President, Governmental Affairs and Medical Practice for the American College of Physicians (ACP). In this role, Ms. Erickson advocates for ACP positions with the Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and other federal agencies with responsibility for implementation of the Affordable Care Act and other federal health reform initiatives. She also directs and collaborates on the development of ACP policies and advocacy strategies in order to influence delivery system and payment reforms, such as Accountable Care Organizations and the patient-centered medical home (PCMH), as well as health insurance-related issues.
