Hear from Families USA experts about the Center on Health Equity Action for System Transformation, a first-of-its-kind entity launched last December dedicated to the development and advancement of patient-centered health system transformation policies, designed to reduce racial, ethnic, and geographic inequities.

We will provide an overview of the Center's goals and projects, our conceptual framework, and how to get involved. We will also discuss its newest program, the Evidence for Equitty Initiative, where we will explain the critical role of evidence in advancing health equity with a focus on comparative effectiveness research (CER) and patient-centered outcomes reasearch (PCOR).

The webinar will start with an overview of the six policy domains identified in A Framework for Advancing Health Equity and Value: Policy Options for Reducing Health Inequities by Transforming Delivery and Payment Systems, and focus on the Evidence domain, describing the critical role of evidence in advancing health equity with a focus on comparative effectiveness research (CER) and patient-centered outcomes research (PCOR).

The speakers are the lead authors of the Initiative's foundational report, The Role of Patient-Centered Outcomes Research in Improving Evidence and Advancing Health Equity.
